During our summer associate’s program, training is conducted in various practice areas, and, in some cases, summer associates are given an opportunity to demonstrate application of the principles they have been taught. We recruit and look for candidates with strong grades and solid research, writing and communication skills. Building relationships with clients and colleagues is a key aspect in our program. To assess your performance, we require all attorneys and non-attorneys for whom you have completed assignments to discuss your work product in order to communicate the most qualified feedback.
We train and mentor our summer associates as intensively as our full-time attorneys. We hire summer associates with the possible expectation that they will be invited to join us as associates after law school. Summer associates at McDaniel Law will participate in the firm’s commitment to excellence, diversity, and professional development. We begin accepting applications in February & March of each year.
