As counsel for closely held companies and their principals Mr. McDaniel has guided closely-held businesses and professional practices through the process of reorganization or dissolution for nearly two decades.  He is an experienced litigator in corporate governance matters with a solid foundation in the legal, financial and valuation issues that commonly are involved when litigation cannot be avoided.  He has brought many dozens of business divorces to a successful conclusion, whether through negotiation or litigation.

Mr. McDaniel acts as counsel to law firms and to medical and other professional practices on such issues as separation and termination agreements, the expulsion or withdrawal of principals and the post-termination enforcement of agreements.  In matters involving law firms, he prosecutes actions necessary for the collection of fees through the imposition of statutory or equitable attorney liens.
