Jay McDaniel is the chair of the Business and Corporate Law Department at the Weiner Law Group. He has practiced in the areas of commercial and business litigation, including corporate, limited liability company and partnership disputes since 1991. He represents individuals and businesses in multiple industries and professions.

As counsel to closely held companies and their principals Mr. McDaniel has guided closely-held businesses and professional practices through the process of reorganization or dissolution for three decades. He is an experienced litigator in corporate governance matters with a solid foundation in the legal, financial and valuation issues that commonly are involved when litigation cannot be avoided.
He has brought many dozens of business divorces to a successful conclusion, whether through negotiation or litigation. He also advises clients on such issues as separation and termination agreements, the expulsion or withdrawal of principals and the post-termination enforcement of agreements.
He practices in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York.
